I have a total of 68 chickens and sell their eggs for $2.oo a dozen (check my webpage for more available sizes and prices for hatching eggs).
During the day they are either in their very large enclosure or out free ranging. At night they return to their safe clean coops.
They are fed 0l'Mill Laying Pellet (from Efland Milling Company) mixed with Bartlett Complete Laying Crumble and ground oyster shell. They also get fruit, bread, and veggie treats almost every day.
Though I have experience with several breeds, I'm now concentrating on breeding the correct genetics in to my Silkie flock as well as maintaining a few hardy, dual purpose flocks including; Ameraucanas, Blue Orpingtons, an OEG & Pekin .
I also sell Duck eggs from our Flock of 9 Blue/Black/Splash Swedish Ducks.
